CITIZENSHIP THROUGH ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA INVESTMENT
CITIZENSHIP THROUGH INVESTMENT
Launched in 2013, the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship through Investment program is one of the newest economic citizenship programs in the world. Applicants and their families can apply for the citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda in exchange for a substantial contribution to the country.

Successful applicants can travel without visas to more than 130 countries around the world, including the European Union, the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS
Investors and their families can obtain citizenship of Antigua and Barbuda by choosing one of three options:

A one-time contribution to the National Transformation Fund (NDF)
Approved Property Purchase
Approved Business Investment
Grants to the West India Foundation (UWI)
Limited Time Offer
The offer is available until October 31, 2019. The following requirements for contributions and investments apply.
Contribution to NDF
Family of 4 or less: $ 100,000
Family of 5 or more: $ 125,000

Real estate investment
Application for the main applicant and any number of additional dependents: $ 400,000
Joint application with two main applicants (and any number of dependents): $ 200,000 (assuming the total value of the investment is $ 400,000).
NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION FUND (NDF)
The National Transformation Fund (NDF) of Antigua and Barbuda has been approved by the Government to support projects to develop the national economy. The minimum fee required for the NDF option is $ 100,000 plus Government fees, which total $ 125,000 per applicant.

PURCHASE OF APPROVED REAL ESTATE
The option to purchase approved property requires applicants to purchase property that they can only sell after 5 years. Ownership through the company is allowed if the company is non-profit, all shares of the company were issued in the name of the applicant, established and operate in accordance with the laws of Antigua and Barbuda, which is not tax-free or an offshore organization. The minimum investment for an approved property is $ 400,000.

APPROVED BUSINESS INVESTMENT
The business investment option allows applicants to invest in a business that has been approved by the Department of Citizenship through Investments (CIU). CIU approves business investment after discussion with the Antigua and Barbuda Investment Authority (ABIA). Applicants who choose this option may:
Invest at least $ 1,500,000 in an approved business project; or
Invest at least $ 400,000 in a joint project with another applicant if the total joint investment is $ 5,000,000.
GRANTS FOR THE WESTERN INDIA FUND (UWI)
The West India Foundation aims to finance and develop the fourth university in Antigua and Barbuda. This option is only available for families of four or more. The Fund Assistance (UWI) gives one family member a one-year scholarship at the University of Western India.
